• Ocean Lifeguard and 1st Assistant Chief of Southampton Village Ocean Rescue, a volunteer first responder organzation that is on call for water emergencies, 24-7, year-round

• Emergency Medical Technician and a member of Southampton Volunteer Village Ambulance

• Red Cross CPR Instructor and volunteers his time to provide CPR classes for those eager to learn and enhance their lifesaving skills.

• Red Cross Bay and Pool Lifeguard Instructor, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor ,and Director of the Learn to Swim Program for people on the Spectrum. He also continues to train and certify bay and pool lifeguards, encouraging them to help out with the Sea Scout Ship programs.
